Resort description
Grand Hotel Terme 5* — a premium thermal resort on Lake Garda in Italy. Since 1953, it has been a benchmark of European resort medicine, specializing in mud therapy, balneotherapy, and restorative treatments for joint diseases.
The thermal water used in the resort’s procedures belongs to a rare type of sulfate-bromine-iodine hyperthermal waters. It emerges from deep underground at a temperature of 69°C, maintaining the highest concentration of active minerals: sulfur, bromine, and iodine. Sulfur provides anti-inflammatory effects, bromine promotes relaxation and improves sleep, while iodine stimulates metabolic processes. Regular thermal procedures with such water reduce pain syndrome in arthritis, decrease joint inflammation, and activate the natural regeneration of cartilage tissue.
Grand Hotel Terme is suitable for patients with chronic diseases of the joints, respiratory system, dermatological, gynecological, and urological conditions. It is also ideal for those planning detox programs, weight loss, and anti-aging therapies for age-related changes. The recommended course of treatment lasts from 7 to 14 days. It includes mud therapy, thermal baths, inhalations, and massages. The individual treatment plan is developed by a doctor based on the diagnosis, disease stage, and concomitant pathologies.
