Hôpital Foch Hospital is one of the largest multi-specialty university hospitals in France. Foch collaborates with Paris-Saclay University and is recognized as an international center of expertise in oncology, urology, gynecology, neurosurgery, and transplantation. The urology department at Foch is among the leading departments in Europe.
High-precision surgeries are performed using Da Vinci robotic systems and minimally invasive technologies.
Main directions:
- Treatment of bladder cancer — organ-sparing and radical surgeries with bladder reconstruction;
- Androgen-carcinoma therapy of the prostate — robot-assisted procedures, individualized therapy schemes;
- Laparoscopic and robotic surgeries on the kidneys, adrenal glands, and ureters;
- Gender reconstructive surgery — gender-affirming surgeries conducted by a multidisciplinary team of specialists
The gynecology department provides a full cycle of medical care — from oncogynecology to IVF programs. Here, surgical and comprehensive treatment of tumors of the uterus, ovaries, and cervix is performed. The clinic is among the few European centers where a uterus transplant with subsequent pregnancies has been successfully performed. In addition, the department specializes in IVF and assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including personalized infertility treatment programs, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and cryopreservation of oocytes and embryos.
Special attention is given to the treatment of oncological diseases of ENT organs: cancer of the larynx, oropharynx, nasopharynx, thyroid gland, and soft tissues of the neck. The clinic collaborates with leading Paris proton therapy centers, ensuring a comprehensive oncological approach.
The team of neurosurgeons performs high-precision brain and spinal surgeries using neuronavigation and intraoperative monitoring. Patients come here for tumor removal in the brain (gliomas, meningiomas, metastases) with maximum preservation of function. Problems of intervertebral disc herniations and stenosis are effectively addressed with microsurgical procedures.
The departments of abdominal and thoracic surgery at the clinic perform a wide range of surgeries for oncological and reconstructive diseases of the thoracic and abdominal organs (stomach, liver, pancreas, and intestines).
A high level of surgical expertise is confirmed by successful lung and kidney transplantations with more than 10-year patient survival after the operation.
The clinic has a maternity ward and a neonatology department.
