The clinic offers both surgical and conservative non-surgical treatment.

Patients can receive a “Second Opinion” from Munich’s leading orthopedic surgeon remotely, based on existing medical documents, either in written form or online.

The orthopedic team of Dr. Lill holds memberships in the largest professional societies in the field of traumatology and orthopedics: AO Foundation, IGOST, DGOOC, DGW.

Germany’s largest physician rating portal Jameda has included Professor Lill among the top 10 doctors and orthopedists in Munich.

The Orthopedic Center of Professor Lill is a private practice founded in 2009 by Dr. Christoph Lill. He works in a team with Tobias Riedel and Ralf D. Rothörl, together providing comprehensive orthopedic care for patients from around the world.

The doctors specialize in joint and spinal injuries, and are also highly skilled in sports medicine. Within the private practice, patients can undergo minimally invasive joint surgery (arthroscopy) with partial or total replacement, or conservative treatment when surgical intervention is not indicated. If the patient does not have a specific diagnosis, Prof. Lill himself can conduct a full examination, including laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, CT, and imaging studies.

A distinctive feature of the Center is the use of an innovative method — transplantation of the patient’s own cartilage cells into the damaged area. This is one of the few private centers in Germany where cartilage injuries can be treated in this way. The key advantages are high efficiency and low risk of cell rejection.

Professor Christoph Lill pays special attention to the treatment of chronic pain: his center offers a wide range of non-surgical methods, including acupuncture, chiropractic (a form of manual therapy), denervation, infiltration, and physiotherapy.
