“Memorial Shishli” is a multidisciplinary hospital, one of the leaders of world medicine. Two years after its foundation, the hospital was accredited with JCI (Joint Commission International) certificate, confirming its compliance with the highest international standards. “Memorial Şişli” was the first hospital in Turkey that managed to become part of the American Hospital Association. Modern equipment includes da Vinci robot, PET/CT, 1.5 and 3 Tesla MRI, digital dermatoscopy with artificial intelligence, TrueBeam STx system with “targeted irradiation” function, and others. “Memorial Shishli” has a positive reputation in many fields of medicine, including transplantology, IVF and reproductive genetics, oncology, robotic surgery. The oncology center’s activities are based on an individual approach: a personalized treatment plan is prescribed after a consilium of a multidisciplinary team. In addition to classical chemotherapy, immuno- and targeted therapy has been offered in recent years, increasing the probability of treatment success and quality of life. The state-of-the-art radiation therapy technologies TrueBeam STx and Elekta Versa Signuture HD allow only cancer cells to be targeted. Other treatments include radioiodine therapy, interventional radiology procedures and surgical tumor removal.
