The center is part of the University Medical Center Freiburg and is fully dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including rare hereditary disorders such as cardiomyopathies and congenital heart defects.

The University Cardiology Center in Bad Krozingen is a renowned medical institution in Germany, with physicians specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. Special focus is given to rare hereditary conditions, such as cardiomyopathies and congenital defects.
The Center comprises several departments: cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, angiology, congenital anomalies, and pediatric cardiology.
Minimally invasive surgical techniques are considered the gold standard for treating many pathologies. These include minimally invasive valve replacement, endovascular stent-graft implantation, radiofrequency and cryoablation, as well as left atrial appendage clipping.
