The Cardiology Center has long been a direct division of the University Hospital Freiburg for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The clinic is equipped with a 64-slice CT scanner for high accuracy of the images produced.
The University Cardiology Center Bad Krozingen is a renowned center in Germany whose doctors focus on the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of cardiovascular diseases. Special attention is paid to rare hereditary diseases such as cardiomyopathies and congenital malformations. The Center has several departments: cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, angiology, congenital anomalies and pediatric cardiology. The gold standard at the Center for the treatment of many pathologies is gentle surgical techniques. These include minimally invasive surgical replacement of heart valves, endovascular implantation of stent grafts, radiofrequency and cold ablation, atrial auricle clipping. With the help of modern equipment all patients receive comprehensive diagnostics. The Center offers the whole range of modern imaging methods: optical coherence tomography of vessels and heart, magnetic resonance scanner 3 Tesla Skyra, Somatom Definition Flash tomograph and digital X-ray system. These high-tech machines make it possible to evaluate even initial changes and start early prevention or spot treatment.
