Professor Yaakov Shechter is a world-leading specialist in the treatment of skin cancer, particularly in the treatment of all stages of melanoma, considered the most aggressive malignant tumor. He is the founder and head of the Ella Institute, where research and treatment of melanoma are conducted. In his practice, he applies immunotherapy as one of the innovative methods for treating metastatic melanoma at stage 3 or 4. It is performed on an outpatient basis, with each session lasting about an hour. During such treatment, in addition to high effectiveness, a low frequency and sometimes an almost complete absence of side effects are noted.
