Hotel Overview

Elisabethpark Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the Alps, built in 1882 at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level. The hotel’s philosophy is based on classic spa treatments, where natural resources and impeccable service create the perfect environment for relaxation and recovery.

The wellness program includes mud wraps and baths with healing thermal water. In the latter half of the 20th century, Elisabethpark Hotel became the first hotel in the resort to introduce a thermal water pool, drawing directly from a hot spring. After a major renovation in 2008, the hotel meets all modern comfort and wellness standards.

The hotel offers 119 cozy rooms across different categories: Single, Double, Deluxe, Junior Suite, and Panorama Suite.

Guests can enjoy two restaurants and a coffee shop, offering classic Alpine cuisine, such as schnitzel and fondue, along with creative interpretations of Italian and French dishes.

The hotel’s wine cellar is particularly noteworthy: each wine is carefully paired with dishes to create the perfect taste experience.

Radon Healing Galleries

The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to the renowned Bad Gastein Healing Galleries. The uniqueness of these galleries is in their one-of-a-kind combination of natural healing factors: radon, warmth (37-40.5°C), and high humidity (70-100%). When inhaled and absorbed through the skin, radon quickly spreads throughout the body, activating mediators that result in:

This scientifically proven therapy is highly effective in treating musculoskeletal and respiratory disorders, and skin diseases. Additionally, the unique microclimate of the galleries has a general strengthening effect on the body.

A full treatment course lasts 2-3 weeks, including 8-12 gallery visits, physiotherapy sessions and physical activities.
