HOTEL DESCRIPTION

Montreux is a unique resort with a mild climate, where snowy peaks of the Alps border the shores of Lake Geneva, mingling with Mediterranean vegetation.

The Grand Hotel Fairmont Le Montreux Palace was opened in 1906. It is a bright representative of the Belle Époque style and one of the main hotels of the international Fairmont Hotels & Resorts chain. Its elegant architecture with high ceilings, marble columns and decorative plasterwork emphasizes aristocratic luxury. The building’s exterior is complemented by refined balconies and wrought-iron elements.

The territory of Fairmont Le Montreux Palace is a private park on the lake shore, where landscaped gardens, fountains, pathways among flower beds and sculptures create an ideal setting for relaxation. Guests can stroll along shaded alleys, relax on lawns with views of the Alps. Open-air concerts, children’s parties and Christmas markets are held here.

The residence bears the history of encounters with outstanding personalities. Writer Vladimir Nabokov spent 17 years here. Queen’s lead singer Freddie Mercury found inspiration for his music within these walls.
