The renowned Grand Hotel Alassio Beach & Spa Resort 5* was built in the late 19th century. Throughout its long history, the hotel has hosted numerous distinguished guests, including marquises, dukes, and dignitaries. Royalty, such as the royal couple of Saxony and members of the British royal family, stayed here, and in July 2016, Princess Nuf Nint Abdullah al Saud of Saudi Arabia spent her three-week vacation at the hotel.

In the early 21st century, Grand Hotel Alassio underwent extensive renovations, reopening in 2010 as a wellness retreat. The rooms are decorated in subtle grey and blue tones, each with a terrace. The thalassotherapy center offers personalized programs with marine wraps, hydrotherapy, and underwater massage treatments.

The hotel features two restaurants: one specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, and the other offering dietary menus created in collaboration with a nutritionist. The staff has been trained in hospitality schools, ensuring impeccable service.
