HOTEL DESCRIPTION

Michelangelo & Day SPA 4* is located in the charming small town of Montecatini Terme, near the park area and the famous thermal springs. After an extensive renovation, the hotel has updated its rooms, relaxation areas, as well as its SPA and wellness spaces. The calm interior of the building, light tones, unobtrusive service, and high-quality procedures contribute to energy recovery, revitalization, and overall wellness.

A major advantage of the Michelangelo is its close proximity to the city’s thermal center, Terme Tettuccio, which is within walking distance. These are the oldest baths in the city, with the three Tettuccio springs being the first ones discovered in the late 18th century by Duke Leopold. Since then, this place has become a favorite among wellness enthusiasts. The thermal center offers massages, mud wraps, drinking treatments, and hydrotherapy.

Hotel Michelangelo & Day SPA features 70 rooms in following categories:

  • Standard
  • Superior
  • Junior Suites
  • Top Floor Suite
  • Penthouse Suite

The Standard and Superior rooms are spacious and comfortable, ranging from 16 to 20 sq.m., with a balcony and views of the garden, pool, or the green hills of the resort. The suites have their own terrace, perfect for enjoying the beautiful panoramic views of Montecatini Terme and breakfast in the morning sunshine. Room sizes start from 35 sq.m., while the two-room Penthouse Suite measures 95 sq.m.

Nearby the hotel is a villa built at the beginning of the 20th century. Guests can stay in 4 standard rooms and 2 suites, as well as enjoy the living room, kitchen, and dining room. The villa retains original interior details and the classic style of Tuscan modernism.

The main restaurant’s interior matches the overall style of the building. In this spacious, light, and elegant setting, the chef prepares Tuscan and international cuisine, carefully taking into account the individual preferences and needs of each guest. The menu also offers a variety of vegetarian and dietary breakfasts and dinners.
