ABOUT THE HOTEL
HOTEL DESCRIPTION
The building in which the Olympic Palace is now located dates back to the 14th century. In 1358, Emperor Charles IV ordered the construction of a Gothic castle on Castle Hill — Schlossberg. Over time, the fortress lost its defensive significance and was reconstructed several times. With each century, the building acquired new features, and its current appearance was largely shaped during the Art Nouveau era.
In the early 21st century, the building underwent a complete reconstruction. Preserving its historical foundation, architects created a modern, luxury hotel. In 2015, Olympic Palace reopened as one of the most elegant and technologically advanced Spa hotels in Karlovy Vary.
The hotel is located in the city center of the resort, near the colonnades and mineral springs. The Art Nouveau-style facades with wavy lines and botanical motifs make the building one of the most recognizable in the city.
The interiors continue this theme: soft tones, exquisite stucco, handcrafted furniture, and high-quality textiles. The hotel offers several room categories:

Olympic Palace Restaurant – the hotel’s main restaurant is decorated in the style of the early 20th century. The bright hall under a glass roof is filled with natural light during the day and with a soft glow of sunset in the evening.
The gastronomic concept is built around fresh seasonal ingredients and balanced flavors. The menu features European cuisine in a modern interpretation: light meat and fish dishes, fresh vegetables and fruits. Dietary and allergen-free options are available for guests. Breakfast is served as a buffet, while lunches and dinners are à la carte.
In the lobby bar, guests can enjoy premium wine, traditional or new cocktails and indulge in aromatic coffee.

The spa center at the Luxury Spa Hotel covers an area of 800 square meters.
