“Generale-Beaulieu” is a multidisciplinary clinic, ISO-certified. Main specializations: oncology, general surgery, urology, and gynecology.
There are three cancer treatment approaches, all available at “Generale-Beaulieu”: medication, surgical, and radiation oncology.
The first area includes the use of chemotherapeutic drugs, hormonal, immuno-, and targeted therapy.
Surgical treatment involves removal of the tumor or part of it (if radical surgery is not possible), lymph nodes and surrounding tissues, and palliative surgery.
At “Generale-Beaulieu” radiation therapy is also provided: intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), superficial, intraoperative (IORT), hypofractionated and stereotactic, as well as radiosurgery (including Papillon 50, CyberKnife, Radixact equipment).
The clinic is equipped with a da Vinci robot for minimally invasive surgeries. In abdominal surgery, this system is used to treat a wide range of pathologies, including oncology, hernias, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gallbladder and pancreatic surgeries. In thoracic surgery, robotic lung resection is performed. In urology, da Vinci is used for prostate and bladder removal. Gynecological robot-assisted surgeries include hysterectomy and myomectomy (removal of the uterus and fibroids), as well as interventions for oncological diseases.
The ophthalmology department, in addition to consultations and diagnostics, provides a wide range of surgeries. The most common procedures are for cataracts, glaucoma, vision correction, and retinal detachment. Doctors perform corneal transplantation.
In the dermatology department of “Generale-Beaulieu” PUVA therapy for psoriasis, laser correction of scars and precancerous skin lesions, dermabrasion, and sclerotherapy are performed.
