Doctor Joo Kwon
About the doctor
Professor, Doctor of Medicine Joo Kwon is a board-certified plastic surgeon, founder and CEO of the international JK Plastic Surgery Center in Seoul, which he opened in 1998. A graduate of the medical school and graduate school of the Catholic University of Korea, he completed his internship and residency in plastic surgery at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, and is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the same university.
He specializes in:
- anti-aging medicine
- eyelid, nose, facial contour, breast and body surgery
- contouring procedures
Dr. Kwon is a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award, which he received three times — in 2013, 2017 and 2024 — as well as the BMA Medical Award.
He has 35 years of clinical experience and is a member of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Korean Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.
