Professor Nikolaos Zamboglou is a highly qualified physician with over 40 years of experience in oncology.
Among the most notable achievements of his career is the development of a unique interstitial brachytherapy technique. This method enables effective treatment of prostate cancer, breast cancer, sarcomas, as well as recurrences of brain and soft tissue tumors.
Currently, Professor Zamboglou’s research is primarily focused on three-dimensional treatment planning using imaging and geometrically oriented dose distribution optimization.
