Dr. Ravi V. is an orthopedic and spine surgeon, and a consultant at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, specializing in spine surgery and the treatment of lower back pain. He is known as the first surgeon in South India to perform minimally invasive spine surgery.
He was twice awarded a gold medal from Christian Medical College, Vellore — at both the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. He trained in complex spine surgery at Washington University in the United States, with a focus on deformity correction and minimally invasive techniques, and completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Alfred I. duPont Hospital in the United States.
Before joining Apollo Hospitals, he worked as a consultant at Global Health City and as a senior resident at Ganga Hospital.
