Breast reconstruction

I accept Terms and Conditions and agree to receive marketing letters that can be interesting for me.

Breast reconstruction is a procedure for restoring the breasts after a mastectomy (removal). Reconstruction is performed for one or both breasts. Surgeons in European clinics restore shape, volume, and symmetry while achieving maximum natural appearance.

Indications for breast reconstruction after mastectomy:

  • Breast cancer
  • Fibrocystic mastopathy (advanced forms)
  • Purulent mastitis

Specifics of the procedure in global clinics

Modern implants used in global mammology have multi-layer barrier shells that prevent rupture, thereby protecting the patient from repeated surgery.

In addition to standard prosthetics, which use silicone or hydrogel implants, Western centers employ a unique autoplastic breast reconstruction technology. In this case, skin-muscle tissue from the abdomen, back, or buttocks is used to model the breast. For additional volume, lipofilling — the transplantation of the patient’s own fat cells — is applied.
