HOTEL DESCRIPTION

Opened in 1910, Grand Hotel Tremezzo 5* was one of the very first luxury resorts on Lake Como. Founded by Milanese intellectuals Enea and Maria Gandola, the hotel was inspired by the grand hospitality traditions of Europe. The hotel was distinguished for its time: two lifts, central heating, neon signage, stucco balconies and Art Nouveau decoration. Today, it is one of the few hotels in the region to retain its historic architecture and luxury service.

The hotel is set in a lush private garden and offers direct access to the lakefront, a private beach, and an expansive T Spa wellness center. The wellness menu includes a wide selection of treatments aimed at deep relaxation, energy recovery, and stress relief.

There are 80 rooms and suites in the hotel, most of which offer views of the azure waters of Lake Como and the peaks of the Alpine mountains. All rooms are decorated in light tones: blue, beige, and yellow. The windows of Prestige and Deluxe rooms overlook the park or the lake, Suite Terrace Garden rooms have private terraces, and Junior Suites feature two balconies. Particular attention is given to the historic suites Emilia, Signature, and Greta: each detail of these rooms recreates the era of the past. The corner suites Rooftop Corner and Rooftop Grand feature heated jacuzzis located on terraces with views of Lake Como.

Additionally, guests can book the Sola Cabiati villa, which is a few minutes’ drive from the main building. Located in an 18th-century historic villa, T Spa, like the entire hotel, has preserved the original features and notes of that era, reflected in the elements of floor mosaics and frescoes.
