Hotel Royal Evian 5* is set within 19 hectares at the foot of the Alps, right on the shores of Lake Geneva. The hotel earned its Palace distinction thanks to its rich heritage and notable guests such as Rita Hayworth, Ringo Starr, Proust, and Modiano, as well as its more than a century-long history beginning in 1907. Built in the Belle Époque style by architect Jean-Albert Hébrard in honor of the Prince of Wales, Edward VII, the hotel today resembles a refined white ocean liner. Its interiors, adorned with colonnades, frescoes, and antique furnishings, create an atmosphere fit for the most discerning guests.
Hotel Royal Evian 5* is a true embodiment of French elegance and a guardian of tradition. Its rooms feature frescoes by Gustave Jaulmes and restored 19th-century furniture crafted from a variety of woods including rosewood, redwood, and Ceylon lemonwood. The soft blue reflection of Lake Geneva dances across the walls and vaulted ceilings, while marble surfaces reflect warm coral hues throughout the spaces.
The hotel offers 150 rooms with views of either the lake or the park, including 32 prestigious suites. All accommodations were fully renovated and restored in 2015. Room categories include:

A great emphasis is placed on cuisine and culinary artistry at Hotel Royal Evian. The executive chef of the restaurants Les Fresques, La Véranda, and L’Oliveraie prioritizes guests’ taste preferences. Ingredients are either locally sourced from regional farmers or grown in the hotel’s own 3,000 m² Potager Royal garden. You can discover French cuisine in one of the following restaurants:
Les Fresques — awarded a Michelin star in 2018. Its gastronomic experience is reflected in frescoes painted by Gustave Jaulmes. The dining room offers a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Geneva. Traditional French dishes are paired with an excellent wine selection.
La Véranda — serves not only local specialties but also signature dishes from other regions. The menu includes famous culatello and Pata Negra ham, and on Sundays you can enjoy tender lamb, trout, and crêpes Suzette.
L’Oliveraie — an open-air restaurant available only during summer. It offers a Saint-Tropez atmosphere wrapped in alpine serenity and lake breezes. The Mediterranean menu is rich in seafood and spices.
Le Bar — a symbolic Belle Époque venue, perfect for aperitifs, light snacks, cocktails, and a wide selection of drinks.
