Resort description
Kamena Vourla is a balneological resort on the northwestern coast of the Malian Gulf. On one side lies the Aegean Sea, on the other — the mountain slopes of the Thermopylae Gorge, from where thermal waters rise from a depth of over 3,000 meters, recognized as among the best in Europe.
The springs are rich in radon, sodium chloride, sulfur, and trace elements. Radon waters have a proven anti-inflammatory effect, stimulate metabolic processes, and improve the condition of the nervous system. This is why bathing in the thermal pools helps with rheumatological and neurological diseases, and is also effective for relieving chronic stress, fatigue, and insomnia.
The mild Mediterranean climate enhances the therapeutic effect. The sea air, saturated with iodine and salts, has a beneficial effect on the respiratory tract and immunity, while sunlight stimulates vitamin D production and boosts mood.
A stay at Hotel Mitsis Galini Wellness SPA & Resort 5* is recommended for those who want to lose weight and restore metabolism, cope with stress and neurological disorders, slow down age-related changes, and regain vitality.
