International accreditation Joint Commission International (JCI), confirming the high level of care provided at Bethesda Clinic.

Two professors of the clinic, Dietmar Simon and Harald Krentel, were recognized as the best doctors in Germany in 2022 according to STERN magazine.

Annually, more than 1,000 babies are born in the obstetrics department of Bethesda Clinic, whose parents trust in the professionalism of the doctors.

The multidisciplinary clinical complex “Bethesda” is one of the leading medical and scientific institutions in Germany. Research and trials are actively conducted at the clinic, with a primary focus on oncology.

The interdisciplinary Bethesda Center, specializing in endocrine gland pathologies, has been treating tumorous and non-tumorous diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, and adrenal glands for over 10 years. The center is headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences Dietmar Simon, who, together with his team, performs all types of surgical endocrine interventions from excision of affected lymph nodes to complete gland removal.

The oncogynecological center offers patients open and minimally invasive surgeries, as well as laser surgery for tumor treatment. Benign tumors of the endo- and myometrium, fibroids, can be removed using Novasure ablation, bipolar radiofrequency energy, and the Sonata system with intrauterine ultrasound diagnostics followed by ablation. Such gentle procedures are indicated individually, including for patients with adenomyosis. Cervical cancer treatment is possible with loop excision, laser therapy, or combined (chemo- and radiotherapy) treatment. Preservation of reproductive function is one of the most important goals for such patients.

The mammology department detects breast cancer at the earliest stages, allowing preservation of the breast in 70% of cases. Further rehabilitation focuses on the aesthetic and psychological condition of the patient, with reconstructive surgery using the patient’s own tissues actively applied.

The gastroenterology department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal organs. Minimally invasive procedures with minimal discomfort, including video capsule endoscopy, endosonography, and other imaging studies, are given priority in tumor diagnostics. After verification, the experienced team led by Professor Abdurrahman Sagir determines treatment strategies and prognoses.
