More than 1000 babies are born every year in the obstetrics department of Bethesda Clinic, whose parents are confident in the professionalism of the doctors.

The multidisciplinary clinical complex Bethesda is one of the leading medical and scientific institutions in Germany. The clinic is actively involved in research and testing, with oncology as its main focus. The interdisciplinary center “Bethesda”, which deals with pathologies of endocrine glands, has been treating tumor and non-tumor diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas and adrenal glands for more than 10 years. The center is headed by Dietmar Zimon, MD, and together with his team he performs all types of surgical endocrinological interventions from excision of affected lymph nodes to complete removal of the gland. The Gynecologic Oncology Center offers patients open and minimally invasive surgeries as well as laser surgery for the treatment of neoplasms. Benign tumors of the endo- and myometrium, myomas, can be removed by ablation with Novasure, bipolar radiofrequency energy, and the Sonata system with intrauterine ultrasound diagnosis and subsequent ablation. These gentle procedures are indicated individually and in patients with adenomyosis. Treatment of cervical cancer is possible by excision with an electric loop, laser or combined (chemo- and radiation) therapy. Preservation of childbearing function is one of the most important tasks for these patients. The mammology department detects breast cancer at the earliest stages, which allows to save it in 70% of cases. Further rehabilitation is aimed at aesthetic and psychological state of the patient, reconstructive surgery with the use of own tissues of the body is actively applied. Gastroenterology department specializes in diagnostics and treatment of gastrointestinal tract organs. Video capsule endoscopy, endosonography and other imaging studies are performed minimally invasively, with minimal discomfort, which are of priority importance in the diagnosis of tumors. After verification, an experienced team led by Prof. Abdurrahman Saghir determines the treatment tactics and prognosis.
