The Medical Center Teknon is recognized as a benchmark on an international level in fields such as oncology, cardiology and cardiac surgery, aesthetic surgery, and neurosurgery. The Institute of Oncology collaborates with the American Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, offering patients a range of innovative opportunities. Among the modern techniques are genetic testing for more accurate treatment planning, targeted radionuclide therapy with Lutetium-177, the TrueBeam radiation therapy machine with the Calypso navigation system, and robotic surgeries.

The Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery has a strong reputation both nationally and internationally due to its team of leading specialists and the use of modern technologies and protocols. One of its main achievements is being the only institution in the country performing transcatheter mitral valve repair.

The Epilepsy Department has been diagnosing and treating patients of all ages for over 30 years. In addition to medications and ketogenic diets, therapies such as neurostimulation, resection of pathological brain areas, and palliative surgery are available. Clinical trials for new antiepileptic drugs are also conducted in the department.

The Plastic Surgery Department specializes in interventions of any complexity, from aesthetic surgeries for the face and body to reconstructive surgeries after tumor removals and other diseases.
