Dr. Ali Tanakol is a Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, and dermatologist. He graduated from the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine.
He completed his specialization in dermatology and venereology at the Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. In his clinical practice, he treats acne and post-acne scarring, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and vitiligo. He also treats fungal, bacterial and viral skin infections.
His scope of practice includes:
- alopecia
- seborrheic dermatitis
- urticaria
- hyperhidrosis
He performs injectable procedures: botulinum toxin therapy and dermal filler contouring. He uses laser technologies for the removal of scars, vascular and pigmented lesions. He diagnoses and treats skin neoplasms, including precancerous conditions and skin cancer. He is the author of more than ten scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the Turkish Dermatology Association. He speaks Turkish and English.
