Professor Boris Hendel is considered one of the most experienced surgeons in treating lungs in autoimmune diseases, cystic fibrosis, and other pathologies of the pulmonary system, and independently performs such diagnostic procedures as mediastinoscopy, thoracoscopy, and bronchoscopy. He currently heads the thoracic surgery unit at Assuta Medical Center.
Author of more than a dozen scientific articles on the treatment of lung cancer, sarcoidosis, and other pathologies of the thoracic organs.
