Doctor Gadi Sabah
About the doctor
Dr. Gadi Sabah is an Israeli obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in gynecologic oncology. He works at Rabin Medical Center and is a senior physician in the Gynecologic Oncology Unit. He also teaches at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
His main clinical focus is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive system, including precancerous conditions and malignant tumors. He treats diseases of the vulva, cervix, uterus, and ovaries and performs gynecologic surgical procedures, including laparoscopic surgery.
Another area of his professional practice is ultrasound diagnostics in gynecology. He received additional training in ultrasound during his residency and has also participated in research on the diagnosis of tumors and other diseases of the pelvic organs.
In 2024, Dr. Gadi Sabah participated in the treatment of an extremely rare case of ectopic pregnancy in which the gestational sac developed in the liver. The surgery was performed using a da Vinci robotic system and was described as the world’s first reported robotic-assisted surgery of this type.
