Doctor Libor Musil
About the doctor
Dr. Libor Musil is Head of the Rehabilitation Department at Malvazinky Clinic in Prague. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Plzeň, earned his board certification in neurology in 2008, and obtained certification in rehabilitation and physical medicine in 2011.
From 2002 to 2009, he headed the EMG laboratory and treated patients in the chronic back pain unit of the neurology department at Vinohrady Hospital in Prague. In 2012, he worked as an attending physician in the neurorehabilitation unit at the Center for the Treatment of the Musculoskeletal System in Prague. Since 2013, he has headed the Rehabilitation Department at Malvazinky Clinic.
In 2007, he received an award from the Czech Neurological Society for outstanding clinical practice and case-study research. He is the author of articles for medical journals and has organized specialized courses on pain diagnosis and treatment in rehabilitation, as well as on comprehensive EMG and developmental kinesiology in manual medicine.
He serves as chief physician for the Czech national sledge hockey team and regularly attends the Paralympic Games as team doctor.
