The water, rich in iodine, bromine, sodium, magnesium, is sourced from underground wells at depths of 2000-3000 meters with a temperature of +85°C. The mud for the therapeutic muds is delivered to Grand Hotel Trieste & Victoria from volcanic lakes, where it matures for 50-60 days in pools filled with flowing thermal water. During maturation, a unique microflora develops: cyanobacteria and diatom algae.
