Dvorak Spa & Wellness 4* is located in the central part of Karlovy Vary, on the right bank of the Teplá River. Within a few minutes’ walk from the resort are the city’s main drinking galleries with 15 thermal mineral springs ranging in temperature from 30°C to 73°C.
The healing water contains sodium, calcium, magnesium, bicarbonates, sulfates and chlorides, and natural carbon dioxide. Different springs vary in temperature and concentration of components, which determines their therapeutic effect for various diseases. Drinking cure is the main method of sanatoriumtherapy and is prescribed individually by a doctor based on the patient’s diagnosis.
Treatment at Dvorak Spa & Wellness 4* is recommended for patients with chronic digestive diseases and metabolic disorders, including obesity and type 2 diabetes. Contraindications for treatment and wellness at the Dvorak Spa & Wellness resort include: acute infectious diseases, exacerbation of chronic diseases, malignant neoplasms, tuberculosis, epilepsy with frequent seizures, decompensated cardiovascular insufficiency, thrombophlebitis, bleeding or a tendency to bleed, mental disorders, severe forms of diabetes mellitus with frequent hypoglycemia, as well as pregnancy after 12 weeks.

Children under 12 are not recommended to use the saunas and steam bath due to high thermal stress on the body.
