Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Tuscany 5* is a wellness resort in Tuscany with a natural thermal grotto and mineral water. By classification, the resort’s thermal water belongs to the bicarbonate-sulfate-calcium-magnesium type.
The air temperature in the grotto is about 34°C, and humidity is 98%. This creates the effect of a “natural sauna” for gentle detox and anti-stress therapy. Grotta Giusti mineral water with a high concentration of dissolved salts and gases has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and regenerating properties. Therapeutic mud, which “matures” in thermal water for at least six months, is used in applications to reduce pain, improve microcirculation, enhance tissue drainage and accelerate recovery after injuries and surgeries.

Grotta Giusti Thermal Center
The main therapeutic factor in the wellness center is the natural thermal grotto. It is equipped with several special rooms, divided into three zones: Paradise, Purgatory and Hell, with temperatures from 28°C to 34°C. People come from all over the world to breathe in the healing vapors; the microclimate here is unique. At the bottom of the cave is Limbo — a crystalline lake with warm thermal water at a temperature of 36°C.
For wellness procedures, mineral water is used here, containing bicarbonates, sulfates and calcium, as well as therapeutic mud at a temperature of 47°C. It is obtained by mixing clay with thermal water, aged for at least 6 months and only then used in applications, helping to relax muscles and relieve pain symptoms.
