Asan is the largest multidisciplinary hospital of international level, with leading specialties in transplantation, oncology, gynecology, orthopedics, and traumatology.

The Transplantation Center performs surgeries for liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, and lung transplants. It also conducts transplants of the cornea, bone marrow, heart valves, blood vessels, bone, and cartilage tissue.

The Oncology Institute at Asan Medical Center includes 17 departments specializing in diseases of various locations. It has performed the highest number of cancer surgeries in the country and has the highest survival rate. Clinical practice is based on an interdisciplinary and personalized approach. Treatment includes both conservative methods (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiotherapy, Gamma Knife and CyberKnife) and surgical methods (robotic, endoscopic, and open surgeries).

The Orthopedics Department diagnoses and treats scoliosis, neuromuscular disorders, inflammatory and degenerative musculoskeletal diseases; medical care is provided to both adults and children. The top-tier team of physicians specializes in spinal endoscopic surgery, joint replacement, and arthroscopic procedures.

The Reproductive Medicine and Infertility Clinic performs more than 600 IVF (in vitro fertilization) cycles per year. Available methods include IUI (intrauterine insemination), IVF and ET (IVF and embryo transfer), ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection), egg freezing, assisted hatching, as well as preimplantation genetic diagnosis and interventional treatment of benign gynecologic tumors.

Asan has developed check-up programs aimed at assessing risk factors and early detection of diseases. A comprehensive set of laboratory, instrumental studies, and physician consultations can be completed within a few hours. The “Premium” program includes an extensive list of examinations designed for 2-3 days.
