Professor Carsten Müller-Tidow is a specialist in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology and Medical Director of the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Rheumatology at Heidelberg University Hospital. Since February 2017, he has headed Medical Clinic V and is also a member of the extended leadership team of the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Heidelberg. His clinical practice focuses on the treatment of acute leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, and stem cell transplantation.
Professor Müller-Tidow combines clinical practice with the development of new approaches to cancer treatment. In Heidelberg, he is involved in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy programs, including CAR T-cell therapy.
